Mitch Soiefer

Mitch Soiefer has spent the past ten years working with Solar Capital Partners (SCP) and currently operates as a Partner and helps lead their specialty finance practice. His responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting and structuring new investments as well as managing existing SCP investments in the space. Since joining SCP Mr. Soiefer has helped lead over $1.0 billion in commitments including debt investments, control equity investments, joint ventures and other strategic firm activities. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Crystal Financial, North Mill Capital, Nations Equipment Finance and Gemino Healthcare. In addition, he was a founding member of SCP’s aircraft leasing strategy and currently sits on the Board of Managers for SCP’s aviation platform. Prior to SCP, Mr. Soiefer worked in Deutsche Bank’s Industrials Investment Banking Group and focused on automotive companies. During his time there he helped execute leveraged finance, equity and M&A transactions. Before Deutsche Bank, Mr. Soiefer began his career at Goldman Sachs in their Investment Management division.  Mr. Soiefer graduated from Northwestern University’s College of Arts & Sciences with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and minor in Business Institutions. While at Northwestern, he was a member of the Northwestern Club Tennis team.
