Katharine Weeden

Regional Sales Director, Leumi ABL

Katharine Weeden has worked in the ABL industry for nearly 35 years, including twenty at Lloyds during UK asset-based lending's early days. After leaving Lloyds she spent time at an ABL advisory firm, gaining an understanding of ABL from the client’s perspective, after which she spent five years in ABN Amro's large corporate sales team, developing complex financing solutions across Europe that involved mixing ABL with other banking products and working on syndicated transactions as a participant and lead.

More recently, she joined Leumi ABL as part of their London sales team and is enjoying working with a business and board who are keen to grow their book into the larger corporate market and take on more complex cross-border, multi-asset transactions, with a strong emphasis on service and an ability to push the envelope to create the best outcome for their clients.

Additionally, over recent years, she has developed an interest in the evolution of sustainability in finance.
