Donna Dawson

Donna has been in the asset-based industry for nearly 30 years. Her career spanned over various roles in banking and ABL. Donna roles includes, but not limited to, management, operations, and collateral monitoring. Most recently, she served as Senior Portfolio Analyst at Live Oak Bank. Previously, Donna held collateral and operations roles at Citibank, Square 1 Bank, Newstar Business Credit, CIT, Capital TempFunds, Guaranty Bank, and Fidelity Funding.

As Senior Director of Operations, Donna is responsible for ensuring that all new and existing transactions are maintained in compliance with Legacy’s operational management guidelines and credit policies. Her extensive industry knowledge and hands-on experience make her a valuable leader in driving operational efficiency and portfolio integrity.

Outside of her professional career, Donna is a dedicated mother and passionate community advocate, with a strong focus on supporting and mentoring children. She is an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she continues to contribute her time and leadership to community service initiatives.Away from work, Donna is a mother and actively serving in the community with children being her main focal point.
