Chad Simon is Senior Managing Director, Transactions at Gordon Brothers. Chad is responsible for structuring transactions that leverage the firm’s full asset capabilities to provide solutions for our clients and partners. He also oversees the firm’s participation in distressed transactions in North America, including new capital deployment and workouts of existing financing facilities.

Chad has nearly 20 years of experience specializing in financial restructuring, workouts and distressed asset transactions, assisting private equity sponsors, institutional lenders, and strategic buyers in special situations and distressed investments. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Chad was a shareholder at Otterbourg P.C., a nationally recognized law firm, where he played a significant role in structuring transactions for many of the firm’s clients and became recognized for crafting creative solutions and forging the consensus necessary to effectuate complex transactions.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Union College and a Doctor of Law from the University of Texas. Chad is based in Boston and New York City.
