Terry Keating

Terry M. Keating is the Business Head of Valley National Business Capital at Valley Bank, where he leads the bank’s national ABL platform focused on providing flexible financing solutions to middle-market businesses.

Terry has more than 30 years of experience in commercial finance, specialty lending, and organizational transformation, including 25 years in commercial banking. He spent 18 years at LaSalle Bank, a subsidiary of ABN Amro, where he held leadership roles across credit, portfolio management, and client development.

Before joining Valley, Terry served as CEO of Access Capital and as President & CEO of Accord Financials’ U.S. Asset Finance unit, leading both organizations through periods of significant growth and modernization. In addition, he has served in corporate board roles and provided investment banking and advisory services.

He is an active member of the Secured Finance Network, serving on its Industry Data Committee, DEI Committee, and Mentoring Program. He also serves on the boards of the New York Chapter of SFNet and the New York Institute of Credit. In addition, he sits on the National Council of the College of Business at Valparaiso University, his alma mater.

A frequent speaker and contributor on industry topics, Terry writes and presents on leadership, middle-market finance, and transformation in lending organizations.
