MetLife's Asset Management Unit Originates $21.6B in Private Credit Transactions

MetLife's institutional asset management business announced on Wednesday the origination of $21.6B in private credit transactions in 2024.
The 2024 transactions were spread across the platforms - residential credit ($6.8B), corporate debt ($6.4B), infrastructure debt ($5.6B), and asset-based finance ($2.8B).
MetLife Investment Management's private credit AUM stood at $129.1B as of December 31, 2024.
