Internship Description
Hilldun Corporation is on the lookout for a highly motivated Business Development Intern to join our team.
As a Business Development Intern, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts, involving market research, global, prospecting, relationship-building with brand managers and executives, email outreach, scheduling off-site meetings and trade events and devising strategies to attract new customers for our luxury fashion and lifestyle brands.
This is a golden opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the luxury fashion sector, all while working remotely.
Tasks (mostly shadowing / observation with strategic participation for growth):
- Conduct in-depth market research for luxury fashion houses and lifestyle brands.
- Actively engage in business prospecting and establish connections with executives worldwide.
- Manage email outreach as part of the commercial prospecting.
- Organize and schedule calls, off-site meetings, and agendas for shows and trade events.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new clientele.
- Build and cultivate the client database.
- Attend Fashion Trade Shows and Fashion Week events (when applicable).
- Oversee lead generation and manage hot leads through the entire prospecting process, from initial
- Contact to deal closure. This includes assisting with document compilation for approvals and contract creation.
- Shadow the analysis of the financial statements of prospects and participate in contract negotiations.
- Enhance the efficiency of our Business Development efforts through effective organization.
Requirements:
- Academic credit required.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or a recent graduate in business, marketing, fashion, or a related field.
- Well organized, detail oriented, strong written and oral communication skills
- A genuine passion for the luxury fashion industry.
- Demonstrated autonomy and adaptability.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
