Soccodato Joins CohnReznick as Managing Director

CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced that Giuseppe (Joseph) Soccodato has joined the firm as Managing Director in its rapidly growing Restructuring and Dispute Resolution practice. Based on Long Island, Soccodato has 30 years of experience in managing and restructuring international companies, critical departments, and worldwide operating divisions.

Soccodato brings extensive experience leading public, privately held, and private equity backed enterprises in areas such as accounting, treasury, budgeting, and risk management. With a focus on strategic and data driven financial analysis, Soccodato has successfully managed challenging lender/investor/operating environments, as well as all aspects of potential exit strategies for business owners such as a sale to a strategic competitor, private equity firm, or a public offering.

Prior to joining CohnReznick, Soccodato served as the chief financial officer for one of the fastest growing, full-service specialty grocery chains. He also served as the global chief financial/operating/restructuring officer for an international distributor, manufacturer, and retailer of consumer products with annual revenue exceeding $400 million.
