Winter Harbor, a restructuring and turnaround consulting firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Shawn Smith as a senior manager. He has extensive experience with a broad range of matters related to executive, financial, and operations management, and has partnered with clients of various sizes and industries to execute strategic turnaround, restructuring, and merger and acquisition transactions.
Prior to joining Winter Harbor, Shawn served as a partner and managing director at Cardinal Industries, a family holding company with various private company investments. During his career at Cardinal Industries, Shawn served as the lead advisor, financial manager, and operating partner for several clients, primarily in industrial and distribution markets. He worked with clients in a variety of turnaround, profit improvement, and buy-side and sell-side M&A roles, in addition to acting as interim chief executive officer for a number of clients.
