Holley Cold Storage Fruit & Produce Co. and Holli-Pac, Inc., two cold storage facilities with co-packing lines, have retained Equity Partners HG, in conjunction with Tranzon Properties of NY, LLC, to seek a buyer for the business and/or real estate of both locations either independently or combined.  Both properties, located within a mile drive, are just off of State Route 31 between Rochester and Buffalo, NY.  This location allows for service to the entire Northeast Corridor, including Southern Canadian provinces.

Built in 1910 with additions in 1922 and 2003, the Holley Road facility is a 212,000 square foot facility which includes over 144,000 square feet of cooler/freezer space.  This facility is used for co-packing and storage of fruits, vegetables, and butter, and has room for over 11,000 pallets of frozen goods.  The building is mostly one-story with a partial four-story section, and features two freight elevators to access upper freezers.  There is CSX rail access on site.

The second facility on Cadbury Way is a 47,200 square foot building with 43,200 square feet of freezer space.  Built in 2001, this newer location is used entirely for freezer storage and can accommodate 11,785 pallets of frozen goods.

Fred Cross, a Managing Director at Equity Partners HG, stated “This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a large amount of cold/freezer storage.  Both the co-packing business and the private cold storage business are very active.  Both sides of the business have a strong customer base that would like to continue uninterrupted service.”

Equity Partners HG, based outside Baltimore, MD, provides investment banking services and has completed in excess of 500 engagements throughout the United States since 1988.
