It's All About Commitment

Join us in Amsterdam for an engaging afternoon of cutting edge insight and discussion. Starting with a networking lunch followed by a 'fireside conversation', two expert panels and concluding with a networking reception.

Programme:

1300: Networking Lunch & registration

1400: Welcome

1415: Panel 1: Business Market Update

Opportunities are to be found in adapting to the changing environment by exploring alternative financing options such as Alternative Credit or Secured Working Capital Finance, analysing market and economic trends to identify new potential customers or revenue streams, and understanding the supply chain of clients to identify opportunities for Cross Border financing.

Implementing sustainable practices and technologies that improve efficiency can indeed create opportunities for growth and differentiation in several ways. We will explore some of the latest views and opinions from our panel of experts.

  • Jan-Paul van de Kerke, Economist, ABN AMRO
  • Dinko Mehmadagic, Managing Director, PB Factoring GmbH
  • Bart Ras, Managing Director, Working Capital Finance, Pemberton Capital Advisors LLP
  • Richard Hawkins, Founder & CEO, Atlantic Risk Management Services (AtlanticRMS)
  • Mike Roth, Director, Head Asset Based Finance Sales, Deutsche Bank AG

1500: 'In conversation with' Patrick de Beer, Head of Treasury and Investor Relations, Schoeller Allibert and Joanna Bennett-Coles, Managing Director, FGI Finance

1530: Break

1600: Panel 2: The Impact of the CRR on Dealmaking & Documentation

The capital requirements for banks (CRR) are at the verge of another major overhaul with the implementation in the EU of the final Basel III standards. Amongst various other high impact changes, these standards introduce higher capital requirements for committed credit lines and may cause credit lines that are currently considered as uncommitted to be treated as committed going forward.

In this panel, we will shed light on those changes and their impact on loan documentation and secured finance deals.

  • Oliver Böhm, General Manager, PB Factoring GmbH
  • Mariëlle Ansems-Van Mourik, Director Debt Advisory, BDO
  • Ravi Amin, Partner, Banking & Finance Group, Mayer Brown
  • Sven Uiterwijk, Partner, NautaDutilh

1700: Closing remarks following by a networking reception

1800: Event close
